In an industry that used to be the most lucrative in European countries, wine now comes from all areas of the world. It was discovered that certain wine grapes grow the best with specific climate conditions, so wine vineyards expanded to all areas of the earth, from a vineyards in a valley to vineyards on a hill top. Wine from California, for example, has twelve well known counties and valleys that produce the drink. Italy has twenty regions that produce high quality wines. France’s numerous wine regions are known for its historical place among the wine industry, consistently producing it for hundreds of years. With expanding knowledge about how wine grapes grow and with increasing winemaking technology every year, wine vineyards across the world have been able to consistently produce high quality, delicious wine.
